What are the new details for the Agra Cantt-Asarwa Express?
The train previously running as a special service (01919/01920) will now operate as the regular 20178/20177 Agra Cantt-Asarwa Express. This service is scheduled to run five days a week, covering a distance of 897 kilometers. From Agra Cantt, the train will depart at 18:45 and reach Asarwa at 11:00 the next day. The return journey from Asarwa starts at 15:00, arriving in Agra at 07:15. It will not operate from Agra on Mondays and Tuesdays, and from Asarwa on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Additionally, North Central Railway has introduced a special train between Kanpur Central and Kolkata to handle the heavy passenger load. Western Railway has also stepped up by announcing 150 trips of five summer special trains through July 2026.
