Becoming an IRCTC Ticket Agent

Ticket agents can start earning by booking tickets, with a fee of Rs 10 per ticket applicable for the first 100 ticket bookings in a month. As the number of bookings increases, the fee per ticket decreases, making it a potentially lucrative opportunity.

Earnings and Commissions

Ticket agents can earn commissions based on the type of tickets booked. For non-AC coach tickets, agents receive Rs 20 per ticket, while bookings for AC class tickets yield Rs 40 per ticket. Additionally, agents earn a commission of one percent of the total ticket amount.

There are no restrictions on the number of tickets an agent can book in a day, and agents also have the option to book Tatkal tickets within 15 minutes, further enhancing their earning potential.
