Indian Railways has announced the operation of the Mau-Valsad-Mau Summer Special weekly train to manage the heavy passenger rush during the 2026 summer season. Operating as train numbers 05017 and 05018, this service provides a direct link between Uttar Pradesh and Gujarat. Public Relations Officer Prashasti Srivastava confirmed that these trains aim to provide comfortable travel options for long-distance commuters during the peak holiday months.
What are the updated timings and route diversions?
Train 05017 departs from Mau Junction every Saturday at 03:45 AM and reaches Valsad at 12:35 PM the next day. The return service, train 05018, leaves Valsad every Sunday at 03:10 PM.
