Indian Railways has decided to operate 59 summer special trains from the Moradabad division to manage the heavy rush of passengers during the summer vacation. These trains will start operations from April 20 and will continue until mid-July. Senior DCM Aditya Gupta confirmed that about 30 pairs of trains have been notified to ensure that passengers get confirmed tickets and smooth travel options during the holiday season.
Key routes and major stations covered
These special trains will focus on providing better connectivity to several important regions. Major stations like Hapur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur, and Haridwar will see an increase in train frequency. To help people traveling towards Bihar and West Bengal, more trains have been added on routes going to Patna, Gorakhpur, and Howrah.
