63 Trains Canceled in Gorakhpur Due to Mega Block from September 22 to 26 for Non-Interlocking Work

This article informs about the cancellation of 63 trains in Gorakhpur due to track maintenance work from September 22 to 26.



From September 22 to 26, trains in Gorakhpur will face major disruptions. This is because of maintenance work for the new third railway line on the Gorakhpur-Dominigarh and Gorakhpur-Nakha Jungle routes.

During this period, a total of 63 trains, including popular ones like Gorakh Dham and Dehradun Express, will be cancelled on different days. Additionally, 26 other trains will have their routes changed.


Passengers should note that many trains will be halted mid-journey. This will also affect at least 46 passenger trains on the East Central Railway routes, which will be cancelled for these days.

Some of the cancelled trains include the Amritsar-New Jalpaigudi special and the Jammu Tawi-Bhagalpur Amarnath Express. Many more trains, such as the Patliputra-Gorakhpur and Kolkata-Gorakhpur Express, are also on the list.


Travelers are advised to check their train schedules and prepare for these changes. Several trains will be diverted to alternate routes during this time.
