DRM Jyoti Prakash Mishra visited Purnia Court railway station to check on its facilities. He inspected various areas, including the foot overbridge, waiting hall, and cleanliness measures to ensure passenger safety and comfort.

During his inspection, he provided instructions for improving seating and ventilation in waiting areas. He also looked at the station’s outer premises and parking to enhance passenger facilities.


Mishra mentioned that he will be inspecting Purnia Court station every month to keep track of the improvements. He emphasized the importance of this station in the Samastipur division and announced plans for future development, including platform upgrades.

He noted that although the Vande Bharat train does not currently stop at Purnia Court, there is a possibility for this in the future. Preparations at the station are also being made ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s upcoming visit.


In another visit, Mishra checked the Banmankhi railway junction, directing officials to address lingering issues with waterlogging. He confirmed that 80% of construction work is done, with plans to develop a park in the area. The inauguration date for the newly built railway stations under the Amrit Bharat scheme is yet to be announced.
