Indian Railways is introducing new Vande Bharat trains from Hyderabad to Maharashtra, aiming to reduce travel time.
Indian Railways is set to launch two new Vande Bharat train services from Hyderabad to Maharashtra. This initiative will help in cutting down travel time by about 2 to 3 hours. It will be the third Vande Bharat service connecting Hyderabad with Maharashtra.
Currently, Hyderabad has four Vande Bharat trains running to Visakhapatnam, Tirupati, Yeshvantpur, and Nagpur. Along with these new services, there are plans to replace the Secunderabad-Pune Shatabdi Express with a Vande Bharat train, which currently takes around 8.5 hours.
The Shatabdi Express operates six days a week, and the decision to replace it comes due to the high demand for existing Vande Bharat trains. Many passengers have been using the Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam, Secunderabad-Tirupati, and Kacheguda-Yeshvantpur routes, leading to full occupancy rates.
In addition to the new services, two more Vande Bharat trains are planned from Secunderabad. This will establish South Central Railway as a leader in operating these semi-high-speed trains in the region.
With these developments, passengers can look forward to quicker and more comfortable journeys. The exact dates and fares for the new services will be announced soon, making travel easier for many.
