What’s inside:

This article talks about Indian Railways’ decision to increase the number of coaches in Vande Bharat Express trains for better passenger convenience.

Indian Railways has made an important decision to help passengers. They will be adding more coaches to the Vande Bharat Express trains that run on busy routes. This change comes because these trains are becoming very popular and more people want to travel on them.

After reviewing the occupancy data for the financial year 2025-26, the railway authorities decided to upgrade three trains from 16 coaches to 20 coaches. Additionally, four other trains with 8 coaches will be increased to 16 coaches. This will significantly boost the number of passengers these trains can carry.

Some of the trains getting extra coaches include the Mangaluru-Thiruvananthapuram Vande Bharat Express and the Indore-Nagpur Vande Bharat Express. Passengers on these routes can expect more seats available soon, making their travel experience much better.

With the increase in coaches, waiting lists for tickets should decrease. This means that more people can travel without the worry of not getting a seat. The improvements show that Vande Bharat Express is not just about speed but also about meeting the needs of passengers.

Overall, this move will make traveling by train more convenient for everyone. Passengers can look forward to a more comfortable journey as the changes are implemented in the coming days.

Summary:

  • More coaches will be added to Vande Bharat Express trains.

  • This change is due to increased passenger demand.

  • Three trains will be upgraded from 16 to 20 coaches.

  • Four trains will increase from 8 to 16 coaches.

  • This will reduce waiting lists and improve travel comfort.
