The Indian Railways is adding more coaches to the Vande Bharat Express running between Indore and Nagpur due to high passenger demand.
The Railway Board has decided to increase the number of coaches in the Vande Bharat Express train that runs between Indore and Nagpur. This decision comes because more and more people are using this train and there is a big demand for seats.
The Board had recently asked for reports from all zones about how many passengers were using the Vande Bharat trains. Based on this feedback, they decided to add coaches to seven Vande Bharat trains across the country.
Currently, the train between Indore and Bhopal has 8 coaches with a total of 530 seats. This includes 52 seats in the executive class and the rest in chair car coaches. With the new plan, the train’s total number of coaches will go up to 16, increasing the seating capacity to over 1150.
The Vande Bharat Express started its journey between Indore and Bhopal on June 27. It only stops for 5 minutes in Ujjain during the trip. Initially, there were many empty seats, but after some reviews and adjustments, the train began to fill up completely.
Thanks to the request from BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya, the train service has now been extended to Nagpur. This means passengers can travel comfortably between these cities with more available seats soon.

- This is due to increasing passenger demand for seats.
