A big water supply project costing ₹159 crore will provide clean drinking water to 28 wards starting from the next financial year. They will lay 200 km of pipelines, and so far, 100 km has already been completed.
Residents can expect regular access to clean water, reducing their struggles with water shortages. By July 2026, four new water tanks will be ready to support the population of around 1.3 lakh.
Additionally, new parks and a bus stand will be built, enhancing the city’s green spaces. There will be efforts to beautify public places and manage stray dogs effectively.
On the transportation side, work on a new four-lane road and a three-storey building at the Kodarma station is also underway. These developments aim to make travel easier and improve the overall quality of life in the area.
