Important travel updates for passengers using Karjat station due to a 30-hour mega block.
Maharashtra’s Karjat Railway Station will have a 30-hour mega block starting from October 11, 2025. This means that several trains, including the Vande Bharat Express, will be affected during this period.
The Central Railway announced that the Vande Bharat Express running between Mumbai and Solapur will be completely canceled on October 12, 2025. The Siddheshwar Express will only operate up to Pune and not go further to Mumbai.
Passengers traveling from Solapur to Mumbai or vice versa should be prepared for delays and changes in their travel plans. The mega block will be in effect from October 11, 12:20 PM until October 12, 6:20 PM, during which time all train services will be halted.
Local train services between Karjat and Nerul, as well as Karjat and Khopoli, will also be suspended. Only local trains running from Nerul to CSMT will continue to operate during the block. The last local train from Karjat to CSMT before the block leaves at 11:19 AM on October 11.
After the mega block on October 12, there will be another short block on October 13 and 14 from 11:20 AM to 2:20 PM. Passengers are advised to plan their journeys accordingly to avoid inconvenience.
