According to Sule, the Railway Department has officially approved this halt. The train, which starts from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus in Mumbai, was requested to stop at Daund, and the efforts have paid off. She expressed gratitude to the Railway Minister for this positive change.
This means passengers can now easily board the train at Daund. The Vande Bharat Express leaves Solapur at 6:05 am and reaches Mumbai by 12:35 pm. It makes stops at Kurduwadi, Pune, Kalyan, and Dadar along the way.
For those traveling from Mumbai, the train departs at 4:05 pm and arrives in Solapur at 10:40 pm. It operates six days a week, making it a convenient option for many.
Ticket prices for this route are ₹1,300 for Chair Car and ₹2,365 for Executive Chair Car, including meals. If you don’t want meals, the fares are ₹1,010 and ₹2,015, respectively. This change is expected to make travel smoother for passengers using the Vande Bharat Express.
