New Capital Express Booking Opens from Bhagalpur to Delhi; Waiting List Already Filling Up

New booking for the Delhi-bound New Rajdhani Express from Bhagalpur has started, with details on fares and availability.



Bhagalpur has launched booking for the new Rajdhani Express train to Delhi. This service started from Saturday and is expected to be popular among travelers.

As soon as the booking opened, waiting tickets began to appear, especially for the AC First class. Currently, there are no tickets available in AC First until October 4, indicating high demand.


This train has a total of 1,094 berths, which includes 24 in AC First, 208 in AC Second, and 864 in AC Third. The ticket prices for travel from Bhagalpur to Delhi are ₹2,040 for AC Third, ₹3,710 for AC Second, and ₹4,580 for AC First.

For those traveling from Bhagalpur to Patna, the fares are ₹820 for AC Third, ₹1,350 for AC Second, and ₹1,670 for AC First. Interestingly, the fares while returning from Patna to Bhagalpur are cheaper.


Over the last three years, the railways have introduced three premium trains for Bhagalpur, including the recent launch of the New Rajdhani Express, which enhances connectivity to Delhi significantly.
