The Vande Bharat train running from Danapur to Jogbani will start operating regularly from Wednesday. This train will run six days a week, except for Tuesday, and will also have a specific schedule for both Danapur and Jogbani.
The train will depart from Danapur at 5:10 PM and reach Muzaffarpur at 6:45 PM, where it will halt for five minutes before continuing its journey. Similarly, the return trip will cover the same route with set timings.
This service is significant as the train will cover a distance of 455 kilometers and stop at 12 stations along the way. The Jognani to Danapur route will have it leave at 3:25 AM and arrive in Muzaffarpur by 9 AM, before reaching Danapur at 11:30 AM.
In addition, there are plans to extend the Vande Bharat train service to Ayodhya Dham from Gorakhpur. The railway board is conducting a feasibility survey for this extension to see if it can be implemented.
The introduction of the new route is expected to attract more passengers, as there have been requests for this expansion. The railway is currently assessing the results of this survey to finalize any decisions.
