What’s inside:

This article talks about Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Varanasi and the launch of new Vande Bharat Express trains.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in his constituency, Kashi, on Friday evening for a two-day visit. His special aircraft landed at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, where he was welcomed by local leaders and officials, including Finance Minister Suresh Khanna and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

After the airport welcome, PM Modi headed towards the BLW guest house by road. His convoy passed through various localities where residents and party workers greeted him warmly. The atmosphere was lively, with people chanting slogans like ‘Modi-Modi’ and ‘Har Har Mahadev’ as cultural programs and flower petals showered on his convoy, making the entire route vibrant.

During his visit, PM Modi will launch four new Vande Bharat Express trains on November 8. The most significant among these is the Varanasi to Khajuraho train, which is seen as an important gift for the people of Kashi and Purvanchal. The trains will be flagged off from Banaras (East Manduwadi) railway station, with several dignitaries attending the event.

The new Vande Bharat Express trains will enhance travel for passengers. The train from Varanasi to Khajuraho will connect important religious and cultural sites, saving travelers around 2 hours and 40 minutes compared to current services. This means faster and more comfortable journeys for everyone.

This new train service will boost religious tourism, linking Varanasi, Prayagraj, Chitrakoot, and Khajuraho. It aims to provide easy access for pilgrims and tourists, positively impacting the tourism industry and the local economy.

Summary:

  • PM Modi visited Varanasi for two days.

  • He was welcomed by local leaders and residents.

  • Four new Vande Bharat Express trains will launch on November 8.

  • Travel time will be significantly reduced for passengers.

  • This will promote religious tourism and benefit the local economy.
