Previously, the Vande Bharat trains only ran up to Lucknow Junction, but now they have been extended to cover Varanasi as well. The fare for a chair car on this route is ₹2,140, while the executive class ticket costs ₹3,765.

Travelers can now cover the distance from Varanasi to Meerut City, which is about 782.22 kilometers, in roughly 11 hours and 50 minutes. The train will leave Varanasi at 6:35 AM and make stops at important stations, reaching Ayodhya by 3:53 PM before arriving in Varanasi by 6:25 PM.

The train was flagged off by several local leaders, including State Minister Dr. Dayashankar Mishra and other officials. They highlighted the development initiatives taken by the central government, such as improving railway infrastructure and adding new trains to enhance passenger convenience.
