Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the Ernakulam Junction to KSR Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express on Saturday. The online inauguration is set for 7 am, according to railway officials.
Along with the Prime Minister, several dignitaries will be present for the event at Ernakulam Junction Railway Station. This includes Kerala Governor Rajendra Viswanath Arlekar and Union Ministers Suresh Gopi and George Kurian.
This new train service will be the third Vande Bharat train for Kerala. It will connect major cities in Kerala and Tamil Nadu while providing a direct link to Bengaluru, making travel easier for many commuters.
The KSR Bengaluru to Ernakulam Vande Bharat Express will have eight coaches and is expected to cater to IT professionals, students, and businesspeople. The train will stop at important cities like Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, and Salem.
The launch ceremony will also be streamed live at Thrissur and Palakkad railway stations. This service aims to enhance travel options for passengers, making it more convenient to travel between these key destinations.
