What’s inside:

This article shares the news about the new Vande Bharat sleeper trains starting from Delhi to Patna, Ahmedabad, and Bhopal.

Delhi is set to get new sleeper Vande Bharat trains making long-distance travel easier. These trains will run to Patna, Ahmedabad, and Bhopal, and are expected to start before Diwali this year.

The new train service will significantly reduce travel time. The Vande Bharat train to Patna will cover the distance in around 11.5 hours, while other trains on the same route usually take between 12 to 17 hours.

Passengers will enjoy more comfort, especially since the train departs from Patna at 8 PM and arrives in Delhi by 7:30 AM. This schedule will help travelers save time and travel overnight.

The maximum speed of these sleeper trains can reach up to 180 km/h, making them much faster than regular trains. This speed allows the Vande Bharat to complete journeys in half the time compared to older services.

Announcement for the new sleeper services is expected by the end of September, with operations likely starting in early October. This move aims to meet the growing demand for faster and more comfortable travel options.

Summary:

  • New Vande Bharat sleeper trains will connect Delhi with Patna, Ahmedabad, and Bhopal.

  • Travel time to Patna will be reduced to 11.5 hours.

  • Trains will run overnight, departing at 8 PM and arriving in Delhi by 7:30 AM.

  • These trains can reach speeds of up to 180 km/h.

  • Official announcements are expected by late September, with service starting in October.
