Stone Pelting Incident Targets Vande Bharat Express Near Motihari Court Station, Guard’s Window Shattered but No Injuries Reported

In a troubling update, the Vande Bharat Express faced stone-pelting again, despite the Railway Protection Force trying to raise awareness about it. This incident took place near Motihari Court Station on a Monday evening.

The train, which was traveling from Patliputra to Bapudham Motihari, was targeted by unknown individuals who threw stones at it. The glass on the guard’s coach broke due to the attack, but thankfully, the guard was not injured.


Passengers on the train were safe and did not suffer any harm from this incident. After the attack, the local Railway Protection Force registered a case under the Railway Act against unknown persons, ensuring that the matter is taken seriously.

Specifically, the incident occurred at kilometer marker 164/22-24. The glass on the right side of the gate of the guard’s coach, identified as C-7, NR-241553, was shattered during the stone-pelting.


As a next step, Sub-Inspector Ramesh Kumar has been assigned to investigate the case. The Railway authorities are likely to increase their efforts to prevent such incidents in the future.
