This train, which started with only eight coaches, was expanded to 16 in January due to high demand. Now, with four new chair car coaches, it offers a total of 1,440 seats, up from 1,128.
Passengers can look forward to a comfortable journey with 18 standard chair car coaches and two executive ones. The train leaves Tirunelveli at 6:05 am and arrives in Chennai by 1:55 pm. It then departs Chennai at 2:45 pm and returns to Tirunelveli by 10:30 pm.
The Vande Bharat Express operates daily except on Tuesdays and stops at six key stations: Tambaram, Villupuram, Tiruchirappalli, Dindigul, Madurai, and Virudunagar, making it an excellent choice for travelers.
This expansion reflects the strong demand from passengers and is expected to ensure a more comfortable travel experience on this busy route.
