The Tirunelveli-Chennai Egmore Vande Bharat Express train has some exciting updates. Starting from September 24, this train will now operate with 20 coaches instead of the usual 16. This change was made to accommodate the growing number of passengers on this busy route.
The train leaves Tirunelveli at 6:05 am and reaches Chennai Egmore by 1:55 pm. On the way back, it departs Chennai at 2:45 pm and arrives in Tirunelveli at 10:30 pm. This new schedule gives passengers more flexibility in their travel plans.
With the addition of four new chair car coaches, the train now has 1,440 seats instead of 1,128. This means that more people can travel comfortably between these two important cities, which is great news for regular commuters.
The train operates every day except Tuesday, making it a reliable option for many. It also stops at key stations like Tambaram, Villupuram, Tiruchirappalli, Dindigul, Madurai, and Virudunagar, ensuring easy access for travelers.
