Recently, some people threw stones at the Shatabdi Express train while it was travelling from Lucknow to New Delhi. This happened on Friday near the Fafund railway station in Auraiya district.
The train was moving fast when more than three stones hit coach C-16, breaking the windows. This sudden noise caused panic among the passengers, especially those sitting by the window. They quickly moved to safer spots in the coach due to the fear created by the stone pelting.
As soon as the railway authorities got the news, they stopped the train to ensure the safety of everyone on board. Luckily, there were no serious injuries reported, but the situation created a lot of anxiety among the travelers.
On a positive note, the Fafund railway station has recently introduced a weekly stop for the Amrit Bharat Express. This train runs from Darbhanga to Ajmer, and it arrives at Fafund on Saturdays at 7:39 AM.
This new stop has made many passengers happy. The station staff mentioned that soon, more express trains like the Haridwar Link Express and others might also start stopping at Fafund, making travel easier for many.
