This article discusses the impact of a railway protest by the Kudmi tribal community on train services in the South Eastern Railway zone.

During the protest, train operations were completely halted on the Rakhamines-Galudih railway section and the Sini-Gamhariya railway section in the Chakradharpur division. This led to significant disruptions across various routes.

In response to the protest, the railway authorities canceled 12 trains running through the Kharagpur, Ranchi, and Chakradharpur divisions. Additionally, 9 other trains were rerouted to ensure some level of service.

Some trains were also short-terminated or short-originated, meaning they would end or start their journeys at different stations than usual. Meanwhile, 21 trains were held at various stations to manage the situation better.

Passengers are advised to check the current status of their trains and travel plans as the situation is being monitored. Immediate updates on train schedules and rerouting will be provided as they develop.
