Indian Railways has officially announced the extension of the Anand Vihar Terminal to Laukaha Bazar special train service. The train, which connects the national capital to North Bihar, will now continue to operate on a daily basis until July 2026. This decision comes as a response to the heavy passenger demand and the upcoming summer rush, ensuring better connectivity for the Purvanchal and Mithilanchal regions.
Extended Dates and Full Schedule
Northern Railway has confirmed that train number 04014 from Anand Vihar Terminal will run daily from April 5, 2026, to July 15, 2026. The return service, train number 04013 from Laukaha Bazar, is scheduled to operate daily from April 6, 2026, to July 16, 2026. This extension provides an additional 102 trips in each direction to help manage the crowd during the festival seasons.

Route Stoppages and Coach Composition
The train will follow its existing route via Gorakhpur and Lucknow. It consists of 18 coaches, including one AC Second Class, one AC Third Class, ten Sleeper Class, and four General Second Class coaches, along with two SLR coaches. This mix is designed to accommodate both reserved and unreserved passengers comfortably.
