Which routes will get summer special trains from Delhi
Railway officials announced special trains from New Delhi to several key destinations in West Bengal and Jharkhand. The routes include trains going to Danakuni and Howrah in West Bengal, as well as Tatanagar and Ranchi in Jharkhand. These services are designed to provide extra seating capacity for passengers during the peak summer months.
What is the nationwide plan for summer specials
The Ministry of Railways has approved a total of 908 summer special trains across the country. These trains will operate between 15 April 2026 and 15 July 2026. Out of the total 18,262 trips planned nationwide, 11,294 trips have already been notified. Northern Railway also issued fresh official notices regarding summer special trains on 13 May 2026.
