Northern Railway has announced weekly special trains between Delhi and Sitamarhi to manage the heavy passenger rush during the summer season in 2026. These special fare services, numbered 04010 and 04009, will operate for 28 trips from April to July. The initiative provides extra connectivity for passengers traveling to various parts of Bihar during the peak holiday period.
Schedule and Stoppages for Delhi-Sitamarhi Special
The weekly service starts from April 16, 2026. Train number 04010 will leave Old Delhi Junction every Thursday. For the return journey, train 04009 will depart Sitamarhi Junction every Friday. The service will conclude on July 10, 2026. The train covers a total distance of 996 km and makes key stops at the following stations:
- Ghaziabad and Moradabad
- Bareilly and Sitapur
- Gonda and Gorakhpur
- Narkatiaganj and Raxaul
- Bairgania and Sitamarhi Junction
