Indian Railways has decided to run the Okha-Shakurbasti Superfast Weekly Special train to manage the extra rush of passengers during the summer season. This service will operate from April 2026 to June 2026, providing a comfortable travel option for those planning trips during the summer holidays. The train will connect several key cities across Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Haryana before reaching the Shakurbasti station in Delhi. This initiative by Western Railway will help passengers get confirmed tickets during the peak vacation period.
Train Schedule and Operation Dates
Train number 09523 (Okha to Shakurbasti) will start its journey every Tuesday from April 14, 2026, to June 30, 2026. It will depart from Okha at 10:20 AM and reach Jaipur at 4:10 AM the next day, finally arriving at Shakurbasti at 10:35 AM on Wednesday. For the return journey, Train number 09524 will depart from Shakurbasti every Wednesday at 1:15 PM from April 15, 2026, to July 1, 2026. It will reach Jaipur the same evening and arrive in Okha by Thursday afternoon. North Western Railway Chief Public Relations Officer Amit Sudarshan confirmed the operation of these services.

The train will consist of 22 LHB coaches, which include one Second AC, four Third AC, 12 Sleeper coaches, and three General category coaches along with two guard compartments.
