The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has officially invited bids to build a 3.9-kilometer section that will connect Tughlakabad to Kalindi Kunj. This new infrastructure project is designed to link the existing Magenta and Violet Lines, which will help reduce heavy traffic on the roads of South Delhi and provide better travel options for daily commuters.

Stations and Route Connectivity
The new elevated stretch will include four key stations to serve the densely populated areas of the region. The route begins at Tughlakabad and ends at Kalindi Kunj, covering Sarita Vihar Depot and Madanpur Khadar in between. This design ensures that passengers can easily switch lines and reach different parts of the city without facing road congestion.
