The accident resulted in severe injuries for Mahendra, who suffered the loss of a leg. His wife, Geeta, also sustained injuries while trying to assist him during the chaotic situation. Local individuals and the station master responded quickly, gathering at the scene to offer help. Mahendra was transported to Maharishi Devaraha Baba Medical College for urgent medical attention. Background of the Family

Mahendra Nishad, a resident of Basahwan Tola in the Laxmipur village of Rudrapur Kotwali area, had traveled to Mahakumbh Prayagraj for a spiritual bathing ceremony with his family.
