On Friday, 38 trains headed to Vaishno Devi were cancelled because of flash floods caused by heavy rainfall in the Jammu-Pathankot area. This disruption has affected many travelers planning to visit the popular pilgrimage site.

Key trains like Vande Bharat Express and Shri Shakti Superfast Express are among those that have been cancelled. The situation was already problematic on Thursday, with the railway route facing issues due to the floods.


Passengers stuck at railway stations are being assisted with two special unreserved trains to Varanasi and Delhi. The cancelled trains also include several others, such as Shalimar Express and Jammu Tawi Express, which have now left many travelers looking for alternative options.
