The newly inaugurated Vande Bharat Express runs in the morning from Saharanpur to Lucknow, passing through Sitapur, and then it heads back to Saharanpur in the afternoon. This train service also benefits travelers going to Ayodhya and Varanasi, as the Vande Bharat Express to Varanasi was extended earlier this year.
To support the maintenance of these high-tech trains, a new modern coaching complex has been set up at Lucknow station. This facility allows for efficient primary maintenance of Vande Bharat Express trains right in Lucknow.
Lucknow is also planning more Vande Bharat Express routes, including connections to Jaipur and Chitrakoot. With this new complex, the railway can introduce more Vande Bharat trains based on availability, making travel easier for everyone.
