Interestingly, more than 95% of seats are still available for the first day of service. For example, as of Monday evening, there were 409 empty seats in CC class and 416 on December 11. This trend continues with 418 seats available on December 12, and similar numbers for the following days.

Many tickets are not being sold due to a lack of awareness about the new train service. The actual number of sold tickets will be clear only after the final chart is prepared. However, an increase in passenger numbers is expected soon.

Summary:

  • The new Vande Bharat Express will run between Saharanpur and Lucknow.

  • It starts on December 10, with tickets priced at ₹1,530 and ₹2,750.

  • The train operates six days a week, excluding Mondays.

  • More than 95% of seats are still empty for the first few days.

  • Low ticket sales are due to a lack of information about the service.
