On Sunday, Jammu’s train services faced big disruptions because of the changing weather. Many long-distance trains arrived late at Jammu railway station, and four trains had to be cancelled.

The delays and cancellations caused a lot of trouble for passengers who were waiting in the cold. The waiting areas and platforms were crowded, with people frequently checking at inquiry counters for updates about their trains.


Due to the weather, the railway cancelled four trains, including the Garib Rath Express and the Yog Nagari Express. Passengers had to look for alternative travel options as some trains, like the Shri Shakti Express, were delayed by nearly three hours.

Other trains also faced significant delays. For example, the Jammu Rajdhani Express was five hours late, while the Hemkund Express was delayed by two hours. The Pooja Express was the most affected, arriving nearly eight hours late to Jammu station.


As the weather conditions improve, railway officials are working to restore normal train services. Passengers have expressed the need for timely information and better arrangements from the railway authorities.
