A train accident was narrowly avoided when a cow appeared on the tracks, thanks to the quick actions of the train driver.

The train driver acted swiftly when he spotted the cow. He applied the emergency brakes immediately, causing the train to stop abruptly. Although the train halted, the impact was severe enough that the cow died on the spot. Thankfully, no passengers were injured, but there was a moment of panic among them.

Once the situation was under control, the railway control room was alerted. A team from the Northeast Railway quickly arrived at the scene to remove the deceased cow from the tracks. The train remained stationary for about 10 minutes before it was allowed to continue its journey. Due to this brief delay, the Vande Bharat arrived at Prayagraj Junction 11 minutes late.
