What’s inside:

Passengers protested at Goniayana Mandi station, causing the Vande Bharat train to leave late. Police are taking action against the protestors.

A recent incident at Goniayana Mandi station caused a delay for the Vande Bharat train coming from Ferozepur to Delhi. On Tuesday, the train left Bathinda 38 minutes late due to passenger protests.

Passengers of a local train were unhappy that their train was stopped to let the Vande Bharat pass. They claimed this delay affected their jobs and daily routines. In response to the protest, officials decided to let the local train go first.

The Vande Bharat train usually crosses Goniayana Mandi at around 8:55 AM, but the local train arrives just 10-15 minutes before. This often leads to delays for passengers on the local train, who have to wait until the faster train passes.

This situation causes frustration among local passengers, who have complained that their train gets delayed too often in favor of the Vande Bharat. They feel this is impacting their work and daily tasks.

Summary:

  • Vande Bharat train was delayed due to protests at Goniayana Mandi.

  • Local train passengers felt their journeys were unfairly delayed.

  • Protestors claimed delays affected their work schedules.

  • Railway officials are looking into the complaints.

  • Police have recorded the protest for possible action.
