20 Trains Hit! Bina-Agasod Yard Remodeling Disrupts Travel Through October
Major disruptions are currently unfolding in the Bhopal railway division as essential infrastructure upgrades take place between the Bina and Agasod stations. To facilitate the connection of a critical third railway line, yard remodeling work is underway, impacting the movement of approximately 20 passenger trains through cancellations, route adjustments, and short-terminations.
Why the Disruptions?
The ongoing project involves complex pre-non-interlocking and non-interlocking operations. These works, which began on September 1, 2026, are scheduled to continue until October 15, 2026.
