Strategic Planning for High Demand
Dr. Swapnil Nila, Chief Public Relations Officer of Central Railway, emphasized that the decision to run these 246 services is a proactive measure to manage the festive rush. By covering major originating hubs like Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT), the railway aims to prevent overcrowding and ensure that devotees reach their destinations safely. The full schedule, including specific timings and stoppages, has been released to help travelers plan their journeys well in advance. Passengers are advised to keep an eye on the official IRCTC portal for real-time updates as reservation slots open up.
