West Central Railway GM Inspects Rani Kamalapati Depot, Instructs Redesign of Vande Bharat Seats for Enhanced Passenger Comfort

The General Manager of West Central Railway, Shobhana Bandopadhyay, visited the Rani Kamalapati Railway Station on Saturday, along with Bhopal DRM Pankaj Tyagi. They inspected the coaching depot and the Vande Bharat rake to ensure everything is in good condition.

During the inspection, Bandopadhyay emphasized that the seats in the Vande Bharat Express should be redesigned for better comfort. She wants to make sure that passengers have a more enjoyable experience while traveling.


For the safety of the passengers, she also checked the fire extinguishers installed in the depot. These extinguishers were only approved after passing a successful test, highlighting the importance of safety measures.

Additionally, she looked at the coaching shed and the pit wheel lathe machine. Bandopadhyay instructed the officials to finish all pending work on time and to maintain high-quality standards.


As a next step, the railway officials will focus on redesigning the seats and completing ongoing projects at the depot. This will help enhance the overall travel experience for passengers using the Vande Bharat trains.
