Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Varanasi on November 8. During this visit, he will flag off four new Vande Bharat Express trains at around 8:15 AM.

The announcement comes from the Prime Minister’s Office, highlighting the government’s effort to provide better rail services. This initiative is a step towards offering citizens faster and more comfortable travel options.


These four new trains will run on key routes including Varanasi-Khajuraho, Lucknow-Saharanpur, Firozpur-Delhi, and Ernakulam-Bengaluru. The Varanasi-Khajuraho route will save passengers about 2 hours and 40 minutes compared to current services.

For instance, the Lucknow-Saharanpur train will complete the journey in about 7 hours and 45 minutes, cutting down travel time significantly. This will benefit many travelers in the region, improving connectivity to important cities.


In addition, the Firozpur-Delhi train will be the fastest on its route, taking just 6 hours and 40 minutes. Meanwhile, the Ernakulam-Bengaluru train will reduce travel time to 8 hours and 40 minutes, enhancing business and tourism opportunities in South India.
