The new Vande Bharat train service between Lucknow and Saharanpur is yet to start, causing disappointment among locals.

The Vande Bharat train service between Lucknow and Saharanpur still hasn’t started even after a week of its inauguration. People in Saharanpur are getting more anxious and disappointed as they wait for the train to begin its journey.

This train was inaugurated on November 8 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi through a video conference. Local representatives welcomed the train with flowers when it arrived in Saharanpur, showing how excited everyone was about the new service.

The train is supposed to cover a distance of 518 kilometers between Lucknow and Saharanpur, running six days a week. However, there is still no schedule available for its operation, and people are unsure when it will actually start running.

Local MLA Rajeev Gumber has suggested that the train should operate from Saharanpur instead of Lucknow in the morning. But railway officials are not providing any details and are saying that the decision is up to the railway board.

The train was expected to benefit many districts like Sitapur, Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, and Moradabad. With its delay, passengers from these areas are missing out on better travel options that the new train was supposed to provide.

  • Inauguration took place on November 8 by PM Modi.

  • Local representatives welcomed the train with flowers.
