Which trains are affected and what is the solution
The AC failure complaints were mainly reported in Vande Bharat, Humsafar Express, and Farakka Express. To fix this, the railways formed a Special Maintenance Cell. This cell consists of both electrical and mechanical teams who will work together to ensure the AC systems function properly.
How will the AC maintenance and repair work
The special teams will follow a strict checking process to maintain cooling levels. The investigation will include the following steps:
| Check Type | Action Taken |
|---|---|
| Filter Check | Cleaning and replacement of filters |
| Sensor Test | Testing of temperature sensors |
| Blower Check | Checking air throw and blower speed |
| Cooling Level | Testing the actual cooling output |
If any coach is found to have low cooling, a report will be sent to senior officials immediately. The repair work will be carried out on the spot to avoid passenger inconvenience.
How can passengers report AC problems
Passengers can now report any AC-related issue by calling the official helpline number 139. Once a call is received, the railway staff will reach the specific coach immediately to solve the problem. The goal is to eliminate AC failures and provide a safe and comfortable travel experience.
