Agra-Palwal MEMU Services Cancelled Until Oct 2026
Four MEMU services between Agra Cantt, Palwal, and Rundhi are cancelled until October 31, 2026, for track maintenance.

Indian Railways has announced the suspension of four special Mainline Electric Multiple Unit (MEMU) services operating between Agra Cantt, Palwal, and Rundhi. The cancellation is set to impact several key routes for an extended period.
Reason for Cancellation
The decision comes as a necessity to facilitate essential track maintenance work in the region. Sanjay Kumar Gautam, the Public Relations Officer for the Agra Rail Division, confirmed that these services will remain cancelled effective immediately through October 31, 2026.
Affected Train Services
Commuters should take note of the following specific train numbers and their respective routes that are no longer operational:
- 01941: Agra Cantt to Palwal
- 01942: Palwal to Agra Cantt
- 01943: Agra Cantt to Rundhi
- 01944: Rundhi to Agra Cantt
Impact on Daily Commuters
This suspension is expected to cause significant disruption for daily travelers. The affected routes are vital for students, office workers, and small traders who rely on the connectivity between Agra, Mathura, and the Faridabad-Palwal corridor.
As of now, railway authorities have not announced any replacement services or alternative transit arrangements. Consequently, passengers are expected to seek other modes of transportation for the duration of the maintenance period.
