The North Eastern Railway has announced special arrangements for travellers by introducing temporary five-minute halts to manage the heavy festival rush during Dussehra, Diwali, and Chhath. Passengers planning to travel on the Ahmedabad-Darbhanga Puja Special services can benefit from these newly designated stops which aim to make journeys smoother during peak holiday season. Sumit Kumar, the Chief Public Relations Officer, officially confirmed these vital operational adjustments for the Varanasi Division.

• Train 09465 from Ahmedabad to Darbhanga will stop for five minutes at Audihar and Ghazipur City stations.
• Train 09466 from Darbhanga to Ahmedabad will also observe the same five-minute duration halts at both locations.
• These festival special arrangements are tailored specifically to accommodate the massive surge of passenger traffic during upcoming autumn and winter celebrations.

Schedule for Ahmedabad to Darbhanga Puja Special

Train number 09465 traveling from Ahmedabad to Darbhanga is scheduled to depart Ahmedabad at 8:25 PM on Fridays covering dates September 18 and 25, October 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30, alongside November 6, 13, 20, and 27. The service is slated to reach Ratlam at 1:30 AM on the second day. Moving further along its route, the train will arrive and stop at Audihar at 12:35 AM and Ghazipur City at 1:30 AM on the third day of its journey.

Schedule for Return Service to Ahmedabad

For passengers heading in the opposite direction, the return service train number 09466 from Darbhanga to Ahmedabad will depart from Darbhanga at 3:00 PM on Mondays spanning September 21 and 28, October 5, 12, 19, and 26, November 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30, and concluding on December 2. Along this return leg, the train will arrive at Ghazipur City at 11:15 AM followed by a stop at Audihar at 12:20 PM before continuing its journey toward Ahmedabad. Railway authorities advise all passengers to verify their train schedules and boarding timings in advance due to these festive updates.
