Ajmer-Amritsar Trains via Rewari Cancelled Due to Fog

Passengers planning to travel between Ajmer and Amritsar via Rewari may face significant disruptions during the upcoming winter season. The North Western Railway has announced the cancellation of several scheduled trips for two bi-weekly trains to mitigate the impact of heavy fog.

Safety First: Why the Cancellations?

The decision to cancel these services has been taken to ensure safe and protected rail operations during the period of low visibility. As winter approaches, heavy fog often leads to delays and safety concerns, prompting the railway administration to proactively adjust schedules. According to the authorities, a total of 26 trips for each of the affected trains will be cancelled between December 2026 and February 2027.
