The railway administration has proposed two new Amrit Bharat services starting from Gorakhpur. One train will connect Gorakhpur to Delhi and the other will connect it to Mumbai. The Railway Board has already approved the Gorakhpur-Delhi service on April 27, 2026, and operations will begin after final approval.
