Anand Vihar to Sabour Special Train for Chhath Puja
Northern Railway announces new unreserved special trains between Anand Vihar Terminal and Sabour to manage the Chhath Puja passenger rush.
To manage the massive surge of passengers during the upcoming Diwali and Chhath Puja festival season, Northern Railway has announced the operation of a new unreserved special train service. This service will run between Anand Vihar Terminal and Sabour, near Bhagalpur, providing much-needed connectivity for commuters traveling to the region.
New Unreserved Special Train Schedule
The railway administration has designated train numbers 04066 and 04065 for this festive service. These trains are specifically timed to accommodate the heavy rush expected during the holiday period.
Train Number 04066: Anand Vihar Terminal to Sabour
This service will depart from Anand Vihar Terminal at 05:00 AM on the following dates in 2026:
- November 6
- November 7
- November 11
- November 12
The train is scheduled to arrive at Sabour at 07:00 AM the following day.
Train Number 04065: Sabour to Anand Vihar Terminal
The return journey will depart from Sabour at 11:00 AM on these dates in 2026:
- November 7
- November 8
- November 12
- November 13
This return service will reach Anand Vihar Terminal at 01:45 PM the next day.

To ensure the service benefits a wide range of travelers, the special train will make stops at several important stations in both directions. Key halts include:
- Bhagalpur
- Sultanganj
- Jamalpur
- Abhaypur
Additional Festive Services
In addition to this new unreserved service, Northern Railway is also continuing the daily operation of the Anand Vihar-Bhagalpur special train (04062/04061). This provides extra capacity for passengers heading toward the Bhagalpur division during the peak festival season.
