Ayodhya to Sabarmati Special Train Announced
To manage the massive surge in passenger demand during the upcoming festive season, Northern Railway has announced an Ayodhya to Sabarmati special train to provide much-needed relief to travelers.
Train 04250: Schedule and Route Details
The special reserved service, operating under Train number 04250, is scheduled to depart from Ayodhya Cantt in Uttar Pradesh on October 9, 2026, at 6:20 PM. The journey is slated to conclude at Sabarmati, Gujarat, on October 10, 2026, at 7:00 PM.
Amit Sudarshan, Chief Public Relations Officer for North Western Railway, confirmed that this specific service will operate as a single-trip journey to help accommodate the holiday rush.

The train is equipped with a total of 19 coaches, offering a variety of travel classes to suit different passenger requirements:
- 9 Third AC coaches
- 3 Third AC economy coaches
- 1 Second AC coach
- 2 Sleeper class coaches

In a further effort to assist commuters, railway authorities have also announced another special service, Train number 04251. This train is scheduled to depart from Sabarmati on October 10, 2026, at 10:55 PM, and is expected to reach Delhi Junction on October 11, 2026, at 5:25 PM.
