Additional directives issued by the Mayor include the restoration of the dilapidated fountain at Guru Gobind Singh Chowk, the construction of a platform near the Peepal tree fronting the pond on Station Road, and improvements to lighting near the BJP office. Furthermore, officials reviewed sanitation facilities at the parking lot located behind the local jail and ordered the immediate rectification of drainage issues in the area. Ongoing Railway Infrastructure Upgrades in Ayodhya

The Ayodhya Dham Railway Station, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on December 30, 2023, currently serves as a modern three-story hub featuring a food plaza, waiting halls, a clock room, a childcare room, and religious supply shops. Furthermore, the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) continues to expand service offerings, including regional culinary dishes and affordable dormitory accommodations. Simultaneously, the Ayodhya Cantt Railway Station is undergoing a major world-class redevelopment project backed by a 600 crore rupee budget from the Railway Ministry, with reconstruction work on new tracks and station expansion having resumed on July 9, 2026.
