Bahraich Railway Update: Gonda Road overbridge completed, inauguration set for June 16

Who will inaugurate the bridge and when
Member of Parliament (MP) Anand Gond will inaugurate the overbridge on Tuesday, June 16. Baidyanath Rastogi from the MP’s office confirmed the date and the schedule for the event. The bridge was built by the State Bridge Corporation.
Project cost and impact on commuters
The overbridge was built with an investment of approximately 26 crore rupees. The construction work started in 2022 but faced some delays before completion. This new infrastructure will benefit around 5 lakh people who travel between Bahraich and Gonda by removing the wait time at the railway crossing.
