Bansdih Road Station: New Rs 165Cr Y-Shaped ROB Planned

Commuters and residents near the Bansdih Road Railway Station are set to receive a massive infrastructure boost. A new Y-shaped Road Over Bridge (ROB) is being planned to tackle the heavy traffic congestion that currently plagues the area near the Five Special Railway Crossing.
Ending the Traffic Nightmare
Located on the busy Varanasi-Chhapra rail section, the proposed bridge is designed to solve a major local problem: the frequent closure of railway crossing gates. These closures often lead to long queues of vehicles, causing significant delays for travelers and locals alike.
The project comes with a substantial budget of approximately Rs 165.30 crore. By providing a continuous path over the tracks, the bridge will ensure that road traffic remains uninterrupted by train movements.
